About Us
We are C.A.W.M.A and we have come together as students from the CWC scholars program at the University of Denver for the common goal of educating others on animal negligence.
Through our research we have found that the root of many problems like overbreeding, overpopulating shelters, maltreatment of animals, etc. comes from a lack of education.
We have dedicated an abundance of time, effort, and hard work to find ways to initiate the start of closing this gap on the negligence of animals.
Our Mission Statement
To bring light to the lack of education on the topic of animal negligence in hopes to better the treatment of animals through the power of learning. To inspire a ripple effect that sparks the passion in individuals to become advocates for the care of animals.

Hi! I am Camila, I am from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I am currently a junior at DU. I am majoring in International Business with a minor in Business Ethics & Legal Studies and a minor in Leadership. I like hiking, music, and hanging out with my friends, human and furry!

I am a part of the Colorado Women’s College scholarship program (CWC) and in my free time I like to read books and play volleyball.
