Denver Animal Protection has partnered with multiple different organizations to create the “Safe Haven Program” where they allow 2-4 weeks of shelter for pets of families who are experiencing temporary homelessness. 

PawsCo provides housing assistance that goes case by case, making sure that your pet is getting the best care while you get everything settled. 

Best Friends Animal Society has a page dedicated to many different links from mobile veterinary clinics and housing resources for a variety of other reasons 

ASPCA provides a variety of different resources for families who are struggling with pets, one of those including housing assistance for families who are going through homelessness or domestic violence

The Humane Society has a page where they describe and inform about the Fair Housing Act and Assistance Animals to let you know your rights when it comes to housing and assistance animals.

“The mission of no-kill colorado is to make colorado the safest state for homeless pets. We advocate for the implementation of the no kill equation in shelters to ensure that every healthy or treatable homeless pet finds a loving home”

Even though no kill colorado doesn’t offer direct housing, on their website they do have a list of “safe havens” for pets. 

“PAWsitive recovery aims to make it easier for people struggling with addiction to get the help they need, whether it’s going into detox for a few days or moving into a sober living program for several months.”

This program works as a fostering program and requires volunteers that are willing to foster pets while their owners seek addiction recovery help.
